CHALLENGE
Wollongong is located 90kms from Sydney, is the third largest city in NSW and has changed dramatically over the last 10 years.

After 5 years of using a similar style visitor guide Destination Wollongong decided it was time to develop a fresh and modern design for the guide that reflected the exciting city that Wollongong has become and exhibited how close the city is to multiple tourist attractions.

As part of the brief, the Windsorborn team were challenged to sell advertising space to businesses in the Illawarra region.

SOLUTION
We started by repositioning Wollongong as a place where you can ‘Travel Less. Do More’. Highlighting city’s convenient location to multiple tourist attractions and suggesting that by going to Wollongong you don’t need to spend your entire holiday travelling around.

Our team of designers transformed the existing Visitor Guide by giving it a modern, fresh look with cues that reflected both innovation and the ocean. A complete design overhaul.
