Brief
Prior to the 2019 NSW State Election, the NRMA and their PR agency, Maverick, developed an initiative that would help the NRMA in their key role of lobbying Government for safer roads funding, especially in ‘de-prioritised’ regional communities. They needed a way to bring this initiative to life creatively and visually.

Solution
The Rate Your Road campaign was centred on a custom web-app developed by Windsorborn. The app enabled NSW citizens to nominate their local roads and identify problem spots. A simple interface allowed users to rate their local roads on issues including congestion, condition, safety and access to public transport.

Impact

Over 23,000 ratings were submitted online.

The results, announced in a press conference by the CEO of NRMA, were essential in supporting government lobbying both pre and post election.
