Born in the front room of Founding Director Naomi Simson’s home, Red Balloon was an experiment to test whether a company could be successful by simply listening to its people and customers and delivering a great experience to both. This experiment has evolved into Australia and New Zealand’s largest online experience and gift retailer with over 3500 experiences and 700 gift products.
However, their issue was that their website experience was totally inconsistent when moving through the different sections of their ecommerce site.
After an in-depth research process reviewing data, analytics and speaking with Red Balloon customers, we created a consistent and improved experience by updating the website UX and UI and by redeveloping large sections of the website in the front and back-end. It was a total transformation.
